Not because it's "literally unplayable" (although you really do feel the lower frame rate), but rather because this game is clearly a masterpiece and absolutely deserves to run at higher frame rates. On the Samsung Qn90A this option you have “picture clarity” outside of game mode and “game motion plus” while in game mode. There's artifacts but that's nothing compared to how blurry it is at 30fps without TruMotion. I purchased a physical copy of RDR2 (PS4 version which I believe is the only version), and from the moment I started the download my PS5 became very loud. When I play on the PS4, it sounds like a jet. Finally going to do it. Activate motion blur and use a controller instead of a mouse, and there you have it. Turn brightness down one or two notches. No fan noise from console while running in 4K. Myself included. This helps 30fps look and feel 'better' I was playing DL1 last night on my PS5 and there is an option for motion blur and chromatic effects. I know that most people hate Motion Blur and the first thing they do in games is turning off the motion blur but in my opinion it makes the game even look better and even more polished. Coming from a crispy baldurs gate, this is hard to look at. Puts you into showdown/free roam events faster than PS4 players so you can get Dailies like headshots with bows or other guns etc before the event starts, so you basically shoot them as the spawn in. Get a Black Frame Insertion (BFI) / Backlight Strobing display, ULMB 2 and DyAc 2 are pretty good strobing techniques, this can enhance motion resolution up to 4x, making 120fps look like 480fps. Q: Can I play RDR2 on PS5 with a PS4 controller? A: Yes, you can play RDR2 on PS5 with a PS4 controller, but you may need to adjust the controller settings to optimize performance. Surprise, they literally just had to uncap the limit and it was a constant 60 fps, no dips at all. What makes RDR2 particularly bad at 30 Throw in a copy of dark souls 3 on that ps5 an watch how smooth that shit is, do upscaling no motion blur. My question to whoever has played this game on PS is if it runs smoothy on 30fps without any laggy effects? Im concerned about this bcoz I completed Crash bandicoot N. Yes. Modern per-object motion blur simulates what we see in real life and recorded footage, where all movement blurs on an individual level - like tires, character movements, etc. The current gen hardware can't run these games at 60 fps and thus game devs often include motion blur to give an impression of smoothness. Rockstar just has to change one number. We didn’t ever had a patch and this makes me angry every time cause watching it in 4K could be amazing. Chromatic aberration, film grain, and motion blur. Motion blur is used a lot in racing games since it actually looks a lot more realistic (even if it gives headaches when actually playing). I really hate it and prefer ugly looking edges and less stable camera movement over something thats locked at 30fps with strong motion blur. I’m going from a base edition PS4, so never played on a PS4 Pro. I dont understand the fps vs. RDR2 is a very very rare exception, the people who dev at rockstar are seriously talented, and RDR2 is still, to this day, one of the few games that actually make really good looking shadows. Frankly, it's blurry as fuck when trying to display a 4k image. or spiderman. The mod itself eliminates the horrible smearing in motion and overall makes the TAA sharper. This image should not be this blurry. Some will blur the visuals in a very unrealistic way that creates very alien looking camera motion, is incredibly distracting and consumes a shit load of CPU/GPU resources to achieve while other implementations are a simple blur effect which is tolerable, but in every situation the motion blur is only useful for masking low FPS situations. Because it has vomit inducing motion blur and twelve years of input delay in order to accommodate consistent 'frame times'. since we have no idea, when rockstar will finally give rdr2 a ps5 upgrade, i want to replay the game.
